Pregnant & With A Baby Under 1 Year….

Shout out to you mamas with a baby under 1 and are currently pregnant!


It’s not easy juggling the ups and downs of pregnancy while diverting your attention, energy and love to care for your infant. I get it! My little girl is almost 9 months and next week I will be 26 weeks pregnant. Some days feel like a daze and other days feel like “Yeah, I’ve got this”. 💪🤰


It’s completely normal to feel exhausted, overwhelmed and irritable at times, but it is in those moments that our soul is asking us to slow down and take a load off.  Mamahood thus far has taught me how to surrender to stillness even more on a level that feels like home to my mind, body and soul. It can be a hard adjustment when you are used to being on the go and checking things off your goal list but once you experience how good it feels to go with the flow, there is no going back.


Here are my go to’s to calm my nervous system down when questioning “Is this doable?”.


  1. Let your significant other know you are having a moment of weakness and need a time out for yourself. 💕

  2. Take in the aroma of soothing essential oils.

  3. Do you the love sound of running water? Consider purchasing a small indoor countertop fountain to lay next to and help you drift off to sleep. 💦

  4. Soak in a nice bath with essential oil bath balms to relax your mind and ease your tense muscles.

  5. Give yourself permission to enjoy your favorite treat. My go to is a piece of dark chocolate! 🍫

  6. Clear out energy of overwhelm from your body with a nice stroll around the block. Start with 5 minutes, you may end up doing 30. 👟

  7. Place your bare-feet on the cool grass, look up at the sky and breathe. ☀️
